Although current code requires the installation of a fire escape basmement window, most older homes do not have basement egress windows that can accomodate an adult utilizing the window as an escape route. Kruse Construction maintains a Class C construction license along with $1,000,000/$2,000,000 in insurance coverage. Our Egress Window installations are approved with stamped drawings from a structural Professional Engineer (PE) as required by the municipality.

Basement Egress Window pricing starts at $3,000 for a 3'0 x 4'0 installation. This price includes all services and materials listed above. Items that may change the price of installation include: upgrading window quality; concrete wall thickness; re-routing of sprinkler lines; path adjustment to utility lines; difficult soil conditions including roots, rocks, and hard clay. All of these issues will be assessed on the initial bid and you will be well informed throughout the installation. The installation of an egress window is typically a straight forward process and can be completed in a single working day.

Kruse Construction, LLC also has the expertise to replace your old and rusting basement window well, as well as non-energy efficient windows. As with any basement window project, we will make sure to minimize the disruption to your landscaping. In most cases, our installation crew does not use heavy equipment for ground excavation; we excavate materials by hand.
